About online museum tickets
Tickets can be purchased on this website with bank card.
Opening hours are divided into timeslots and you are supposed to choose the exact to visit the exhibition. The ticket entitles you to enter the museum at any time within the selected time slot.
Please note that the owner of the ticket can enter the museum at any time during the chosen time slot and can stay there as long as he/she wishes, up until closing time.
If the selected time slot seems not to be suited to visit the museum, then you can change the tickets to an another time slot. To complete this, you should click on the Previous purchases from the menu, and then select the Details of the purchase, and click on Exchange tickets.
From 1st January 2008 the ticket prices for permanent exhibitions are changing as follows
Admission:Tickets available at the ticket offices in Wings A and C
Full price Ticket: HUF 900
The Tickets for temporary exhibitions are valid for visiting the permanent shows as well.
Free admission for visitors under 26 and the two parents to those under 18 to all exhibitions on every 3rd Sarurdays of the months.
Free admission to all exhibitions on national holidays 15th March, 20th August, 23rd October.
