Snow White and The 7 Dwarfs

Dance presentation

One of the best-known – all over the world – of the Grimm's fairy tales, Snow White might as well have been created for the ballet stage, and every season since its 2004 premiere it has literally enchanted little ones and grown-ups alike. The seven tumbling dwarfs, the innocent Snow White and the character of the wicked stepmother come to life through Gyula Harangozó Jr.'s choreography, Rita Velich's costumes, Kentaur's sensational set design and marvellous music by Tibor Kocsák, not to mention some brilliant theatrical techniques.
The Erkel Theatre will be welcoming families to the fantastic production in June.

“Children can feel harmony and timing, and the Hungarian National Ballet passed this test brilliantly (…) The choreography to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is most conducive to a family experience, (…) every detail is well thought out and charmingly placed in the set, so that the two-and-a-half hour performance will be exciting even for children. The visuals are very practical, as if the characters had stepped out of a storybook.” (Isabelle von Neumann-Cosel, Tanznetz)
