The Salon will conjure up the musical atmosphere of the 19th century Tsar's court, and the creative atmosphere of Lipót Auer and Mihály Zichy.

At the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries two Hungarian artists, two stars of Hungarian and world cultural history lived - and most probably - met at the court of the Russian Tsar. Mihály Zichy, the artist, the Prince of Drawing, who recorded the events that took place in the tsar's court, at the same time illustrator of the Georgian national hero, and of The Tragedy of Man by Imre Madách, and also the President of the Hungarian Society of Paris. And Lipót Auer, who is considered one of the greatest violinists of the Russian school of the violin, but also one of those who most greatly influenced the 20th century. His pupils include: Efrem Zimbalist, Nathan Milstein, Misha Elman, and Jasha Heifetz.
One of the cultural points of departure of Europe is the little village in Somogy County, Zala, the birthplace and birth house of Mihály Zichy. This is where we shall hold this Salon of St. Petersburg where we will conjure up the spirit of the two giants. The concert master of the Hungarian State Opera, Galína Danyílova, born in St. Petersburg, will perform the legendary violin solo of Tchaikovsky's ballet, Swan Lake, which Auer, the Tsar's concert master, played, and most probably the recorder of the celebrations of the Tsar's family, Mihály Zichy, heard.
At the same time, the Salon symbolises that, if we evoke the 20th (isn't it 19th) century of Hungarian culture, we have to go back to our roots.
